The safest way for ear wax to be removed is to see a professional. If you are experiencing a build up of ear wax that is causing uncomfortable symptoms, ear microsection may be able help!
Our team use the world’s first all-in-one ear and hearing healthcare assessment device, provided by TympaHealth. This high-definition digital otoscopy system allows them to perform hearing screening test, remove wax and debris.
The procedure itself is painless and can be completed all in one 30 minute appointment. The microsuction earwax removal service uses a small vacuum to safely and gently remove stubborn ear wax. In preparation for the procedure, use olive oil to soften the ear wax in your ears. You should do this twice a day starting 2 or 3 days prior to your appointment. We recommend Earol spray for the best results.
Post treatment, to prevent any infection occurring you will be advised to keep your ears dry for the next 24 hours. This includes getting water into your ears while bathing, showering or swimming. To prevent further build-up of compacted wax and keep the ear canal healthy, you will also be advised to use olive oil spray in your ears fortnightly.
If you have had recent ear surgery, a history of ear drum perforation, or the trauma to ear canal, please speak with our team of professionals who will be happy to discuss any questions you may have.
For more information, please speak to a member of our accredited team who can help you to decide if ear micro suction is the best treatment for you.
